增益警惕心

PASSAGES CONDUCIVE TO DISPASSIONNESS

IDHA TATHĀGATO LOKE UPPANNO ARAHAṀ SAMMĀSAMBUDDHO,

DHAMMO CA DESITO NIYYĀNIKO UPASAMIKO PARINIBBĀNIKO

SAMBODHAGĀMĪ SUGATAPPAVEDITO,

如此,如來現於此世,已遠離塵垢,自證得正等正覺。開演宣示出離(三界)的正道,是熄滅煩惱,趨向究竟涅盤的工具,善逝如此地宣說圓滿的教理。

Here, One attained to the Truth, One far from defilements, Perfectly Self-Enlightened appeared in the world, the DHAMMA is pointed out and explained by Him, leading out (of samsara), calming, tending towards Total Nibbāna, leading to self-enlightenment, declared by the One who has gone the good way.


MAYAN-TAṀ DHAMMAṀ SUTVĀ EVAṀ JĀNĀMA,

我們已聆聽了此法,故知 :

We, having heard this DHAMMA, know thus:


JĀTIPI DUKKHĀ JARĀPI DUKKHĀ MARAṆAMPI DUKKHAṀ,

SOKA-PARIDEVA-DUKKHA-DOMANASSUPĀYĀSĀPI DUKKHĀ,

APPIYEHI SAMPAYOGO DUKKHO PIYEHI VIPPAYOGO DUKKHO.

YAMPICCHAṀ NA LABHATI TAMPI DUKKHAṀ, 

生是苦,衰老是苦,死亡也是苦,憂、悲、苦丶惱與失望是苦,怨憎相會是苦,愛別離是苦,求不得也是苦。

Birth is dukkha, decay is dukkha, death is dukkha, sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair are dukkha, association with the disliked is dukkha, separation from the liked is dukkha, not getting what one wants is dukkha,


SAṄKHITTENA PAÑCUPĀDĀNAKKHANDHĀ DUKKHĀ,

簡言之,執取五蘊即是苦。

In brief, the five grasped-at groups (aggregates) are dukkha which are as follows:


SEYYATHĪDAṀ, RŪPŪPĀDĀNAKKHANDHO,VEDANŪPĀDĀNAKKHANDHO,

SAÑÑŪPĀDĀNAKKHANDHO, SANKHĀRŪ PĀDĀNAKKHANDHO,

VIÑÑĀṆŪPĀDĀNAKKHANDHO,

它們即是 : 執取的是色蘊,執取的是受蘊,執取的是想蘊,執取的是行蘊,執取的是識蘊,

The grasp-at group of the body (form), the grasp-at group of feelings, the grasp-at group of memory (perception), the grasp-at group of volitions (mental processes), the grasp-at group of consciousness,


YESAṀ PARIÑÑĀYA, DHARAMĀNO SO BHAGAVĀ, EVAṀ BAHULAṀ SĀVAKE VINETI,

為使追隨者肯定通曉這五蘊,世尊住世時,常如是地教誨追隨者。

So that they might fully understand this the Exalted One while was still alive, had repeatedly instructed His disciples in this way.


EVAṀ BHĀGĀ CA PANASSA BHAGAVATO SĀVAKESU ANUSĀSANĪ, BAHULĀ PAVATTATI,

於追隨者間,世尊常對追隨者如是教誨,提醒與強調 :

The Exalted One, had many times emphasized this section of His teaching:


RŪPAṀ ANICCAṀ, VEDANĀ ANICCĀ, SAÑÑĀ ANICCĀ, SAṄKHĀRĀ ANICCĀ, VIÑÑĀṆAṀ ANICCAṀ,

色是無常,受是無常,想是無常,行是無常,識是無常。(五蘊皆無常)

Body is impermanent, feeling is impermanent, memory is impermanent, volitions are impermanent, consciousness is impermanent. (The 5 aggregates are impermanent)


RŪPAṀ ANATTĀ, VEDANĀ ANATTĀ, SAÑÑĀ ANATTĀ, SAṄKHĀRĀ ANATTĀ, VIÑÑĀṆAṀ ANATTĀ, SABBE SAṄKHĀRĀ ANICCĀ, SABBE DHAMMĀ ANATTĀTI.

色是無我,受是無我,想是無我,行是無我,識是無我。一切因緣和合法 (行)無常,一切法無我。

Body is not self, feeling is not self, memory is not self, volitions are not self, consciousness is not self, all (mental and physical) processes / conditioned things are impermanent, all phenomena / dhammas are not self.


TE (女眾念WOMEN : TĀ) MAYAṀ, OTIṆṆĀMAHA JĀTIYĀ JARĀ-MARAṆENA, 

SOKEHI PARIDEVEHI DUKKHEHI DOMANASSEHI UPĀYĀSEHI, 

DUKKHOTIṆṆĀ DUKKHAPARETĀ, APPEVANĀMIMASSA KEVALASSA

DUKKHAKKHANDHASSA ANTAKIRIYĀ PAÑÑĀYETHĀTI.

我們全體都被支配困擾著,被生支配困擾著,被老及死支配困擾著,被憂悲苦惱失望支配困擾著,為苦所困,為苦所障。怎麼做才能知悉此苦聚之完全止息 ?

All of us, beset by birth, decay and death, by sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief and despair, beset by dukkha, obstructed by dukkha, (consider) “O, if the complete ending of the dukkha-group might be known!”


出家眾誦 Monks Only

CIRA-PARI-NIBBUTAMPI TAṀ BHAGAVANTAṀ UDDISSA ARAHANTAṀ 

SAMMĀSAMBUDDHAṀ, SADDHĀ AGĀRASMĀ ANAGĀRIYAṀ PABBAJITĀ,

TASMIṀ BHAGAVATI BRAHMACARIYAṀ CARĀMA. 

BHIKKHŪNAṀ SIKKHĀSĀJĪVASAMĀPANNĀ. 

TAṀ NO BRAHMACARIYAṀ IMASSA KEVALASSA DUKKHAKKHANDHASSA 

ANTAKIRIYĀYA SAṀVATTATŪTI. 

雖然,離垢成正等正覺的世尊,入般涅盤已久了,然而以信心故,我們依然從家來到非家 (出家修行) ,向世尊修學聖潔清淨的梵行。諸比丘 (沙彌) 具足了戒律與法,為養活生命的工具。願以此修習奉行清淨梵行的力量,此苦聚,讓它們完全地止息吧!

Though the Final NIBBANA of that Exalted One, One Far from Defilements, Perfectly Enlightened by Himself, was of long ago, having faith we have gone forth from home to homelessness (and) in dedication to the Exalted One's Brahmacariya, we practise this holy life, fully possessed of the proper livelihood and training of the Bhikkhus. May this holy life of ours bring about the complete end of this group of Dukkha!


居士誦 Laity

CIRA-PARI-NIBBUTAMPI TAṀ BHAGAVANTAṀ SARAṆAṀ GATĀ,

DHAMMAÑCA BHIKKHUSAṄGHAÑCA TASSA BHAGAVATO SĀSANAṀ, 

YATHĀSATI YATHĀBALAṀ MANASIKAROMA ANUPAṬIPAJJĀMA, 

SĀ SĀ NO PAṬIPATTI IMASSA KEVALASSA DUKKHAKKHANDHASSA ANTAKIRIYĀYA 

SAṀVATTATŪTI.

雖然,離垢成正等正覺的世尊入般涅盤已久,不過我們還是以他為皈依處,信奉法與僧。我們將盡力的隨智隨力,以身口意奉行世尊的教誨,願以此依教奉行的力量,此苦聚,讓它們完全地止息吧!

Although it was of long ago the passing of the Exalted One, we, however, take refuge in HIM, in the DHAMMA and in the Bhikkhu SAṄGHA for guidance. We strive and endeavour to practice as much as our mindfulness and strength will allow. May this practice of ours be conducive to the extinction of this group of dukkha.
