勝利護衛偈 JAYA PARITTA (The Victory Protection)

MAHĀKĀRUṆIKO NĀTHO	HITĀYA SABBAPĀṆINAṀ
具足大悲心的世尊,	為了一切眾生的幸福,
The Lord greatly compassionate,	For the welfare of all living beings,
PŪRETVĀ PĀRAMĪ SABBĀ	PATTO SAMBODHIMUTTAMAṀ
圓滿一切的波羅蜜,	自證無上的菩提,
Having fulfilled all the perfections	Attained by Himself the highest Bodhi:
ETENA SACCAVAJJENA	HOTU TE JAYAMAṄGALAṀ
以這真實的話語,	願你獲得勝吉祥。
By the speaking of this truth,	May you be blessed with victory
JAYANTO BODHIYĀ MŪLE	SAKYĀNAṀ NANDIVAḌḌHANO
世尊於菩提樹下(戰勝魔羅)所獲得的勝利,	為釋迦族人帶來無限的歡悅。
Victorious at the foot of the Bodhi-tree,	He who increased the Sakyas’ delight
EVAṀ TVAṀ VIJAYO HOHI	JAYASSU JAYAMAṄGALE
因此,願勝利歸於你,	願你獲得勝吉祥。
Thus may victory be yours,	May you win the blessing of victory
APARĀJITAPALLAṄKE	SĪSE PAṬHAVIPOKKHARE
以戰不敗的坐姿	端坐在那諸佛加持的聖座上,
In the undefeated posture,	Upon the exalted holy place,
ABHISEKE SABBABUDDHĀNAṀ	AGGAPPATTO PAMODATI
世尊沈浸於那最高無上的成就中。
Having the consecration of-all the Buddhas,	He rejoiced in the best attainment
SUNAKKHATTAṀ SUMAṄGALAṀ	SUPABHĀTAṀ SUHUṬṬHITAṀ
吉祥的星、吉祥的祝福、	吉祥的曙光、吉祥的奉獻、
Lucky stars, lucky blessings,	A lucky dawn, a lucky offering,
SUKHAṆO SUMUHUTTO CA	SUYIṬṬHAṀ BRAHMACĀRISU
吉時、吉辰、	以及吉祥的供養,給予一切梵行者。
A lucky instant, a lucky moment	(When) well-given (are things) to Brahmacaris
PADAKKHIṆAṀ KĀYAKAMMAṀ	VĀCĀKAMMAṀ PADAKKHIṆAṀ
正當的行為,	正當的語言,
(When) bodily kamma (act) is righteous,	And righteous is verbal kamma (act)
PADAKKHIṆAṀ MANOKAMMAṀ	PAṆIDHĪ TE PADAKKHIṆĀ
正當的意念,	正當的願力,
(When) mental kamma (act) is righteous,	Righteous are their aspirations
PADAKKHIṆĀNI KATVĀNA	LABHANTATTHE PADAKKHIṆE
所行所作皆正確,	必將導向正確的目標 (那即是涅盤)。
These righteousness having been done,	One gains the goal by righteousness
