YĀNĪDHA BHŪTĀNI SAMĀGATĀNI
BHUMMĀNI VĀ YĀNI VA ANTALIKKHE
SABBE VA BHŪTĀ SUMANA BHAVANTU
ATHOPI SAKKACCA SUNANTU BHĀSITAṀ.
任何來此聚會的眾生,
無論是住在地上或天空的,
但願一切眾生都快樂,
願他們細心聆聽我說。
Whatever beings are assembled here,
whether on earth or celestial beings,
May they all be happy!
Moreover, may they listen attentively to my words.
SUBHĀSITAṀ KIÑCIPI VO BHANEMU
PUÑÑE SATUPPĀDAKARAṀ APĀPAṀ
DHAMMŪPADESAṀ ANUKĀRAKĀNAṀ.
請細心聆聽我將分享的佛法。
這供奉於天神的虔誠祈禱和供品
是有功德的善業（思、言、行）
他們是跟你們交談的凡人，
尋求你們的幫助庇佑他們免於傷害和病痛。
Listen attentively to the Dhamma that I will share.
The devotional prayers and offerings made to devas and deities
Are good acts of meritorious deeds (in thoughts, words and actions).
They are mortal beings who talk to you,
Seeking your help to shield them from harm and ills.
TASMĀ HI BHŪTĀNI SAMENTU SABBE
METTAṀ KAROTHA MĀNUSIYĀ PAJĀYA
BHŪTESU BĀḶHAṀ KATABHATTIKĀYA
DIVĀ CA RATTO CA HARANTI YE BALIṀ.
因此你們都要好好地留意，
表達你們的感激之情，分享慈愛於他們，
那些日夜為你們獻祭的世人。
Accordingly give good heed, all ye beings.
Show your gratitude and share loving kindness with them,
those who day and night, bring offerings to you.
PACCOPAKĀRAṀ ABHIKAṄKHAMĀNĀ
TE KHO MANUSSĀ TANUKĀNUBHĀVĀ
BHŪTĀ VISESENA MAHIDDHIKĀ CA
ADISSAMĀNĀ MANUJEHI ÑĀTĀ.
TASMĀ HI NE RAKKHATHA APPAMATTĀ.
他們誠心地供養和尊敬你們，
請以慈愛回報他們的虔誠。
They made offerings and honour ye beings with sincerity.
Reciprocate their devoutness, share loving kindness.
They pray for your help, for protection.
Wherefore guard them zealously.
Note:
古時候，離開信仰和宗教上師，以三寶為師的人們，都害怕受到之前所崇拜的神明所懲罰。因此，他們供養並懇切地祈求天神庇佑他們免受傷害。
僧侶們誦念此偈頌於天神。與他們分享佛法，並提醒他們對那些尊重他們，虔誠真誠地為他們獻祭的人們的責任。以回報，他們作為更高境界的眾生，應該表達他們的感激之情，給予世人慈愛，保護他們免受傷害。
