PRAISE OF THE BUDDHA

現在讓我們來贊頌佛陀
Let us now chant the sublime praise of the Buddha.
全體 All :
YO SO TATHĀGATO ARAHAṀ SAMMĀSAMBUDDHO
至尊的如來,已遠離塵垢,斷盡無明煩惱的阿羅漢,自證成正等正覺。
He who has attained the TRUTH, far from defilements, Perfectly Enlightened by Himself, fully possessed of wisdom and excellent conduct,
VIJJĀ-CARAṆA-SAMPANNO SUGATO LOKAVIDŪ
明行足、善逝、世間解,
One who has gone the good way to dissociate from suffering, Knower of worlds, Unexcelled Teacher of those who can be taught,
ANUTTARO PURISA-DAMMA-SĀRATHI SATTHĀ DEVA-MANUSSĀNAM BUDDHO BHAGAVĀ.
無上士調御丈夫、天人師、佛、世尊。
Teacher of devas and men, the Awakened One, the One skilled in teaching the Dhamma.
YO IMAṀ LOKAṀ SADEVAKAṀ SAMĀRAKAṀ SABRAHMAKAṀ,
SASSAMANA-BRĀHMAṆIṀ PAJAṀ SADEVAMANUSSAṀ SAYAṀ
ABHIÑÑĀ SACCHIKATVĀ PAVEDESI,
他以大智慧親證而後一律平等的開導於此界天神、魔羅、梵天、沙門、婆羅門、天人以及一切人類,使之依教奉行。
Who made known (the Dhamma), having realised it through direct knowledge, in this world with its devas, māras and brahmas, this generation with its samanas and brahmins together with its rulers and common people,
YO DHAMMAṀ DESESI ĀDIKALYĀṆAṀ MAJJHEKALYĀNAṀ
PARIYOSĀNAKALYĀṆAṀ, SĀTTHAṀ SABYAÑJANAṀ KEVALA
PARIPUṆṆAṀ PARISUDDHAṀ BRAHMA-CARIYAṀ PAKĀSESI,
至尊的佛陀,宣揚佛法,開始時美妙,中間時美妙,最後也是一樣美妙。世尊宣告聖潔之道,清淨高尚, 文義具足,
Who explained the Dhamma good in the beginning, good in the middle, good at the end, who explained the brahmacariya (holy life) in its essence and in detail, complete and perfect, of unsurpassed purity.
TAMAHAṀ BHAGAVANTAṀ АВНIPŪJAYĀMI TAMAHAṀ
BHAGAVANTAṀ SIRASĀ NAMĀMI.
我虔誠地禮敬世尊,對於世尊,我俯首頂禮。
That Exalted One I worship most highly, to that Exalted One I bow my head down.

現在讓我們來贊頌法。
Let us now chant the sublime praise of the Dhamma.
全體 All :
YO SO SVĀKKHĀTO BHAGAVATĀ DHAMMO
世尊所善妙詳細宣說的法,
That which is well-expounded, the DHAMMA of the Exalted One,
SANDIṬṬHIKO AKĀLIKO EHIPASSIKO
須經過學習及奉行才能親自體會的(自見) ,是可奉行,可得成果,不被時間所限制的(無時) ,請來親自試試看(請來看),
To be seen here-and-now, timeless, inviting all to come and see,
OPANAYIKO PACCATTAṀ VEDITABBO VIÑÑŪHI
向內返照 (導向) ,智者皆能親自體證 (智者各自證知)。
leading inwards, to be seen by each wise man for himself.
TAMAHAṀ DHAMMAṀ ABHIPŪJAYĀMI TAMAHAṀ
DHAMMAṀ SIRASĀ NAMĀMI.
我虔誠地禮敬法,於法我俯首頂禮。
That Dhamma I worship most highly, to that Dhamma my head I bow down.
(頂禮及憶念佛陀的恩德 Prostrate Once )
贊頌僧伽PRAISE OF THE SAṄGHA

現在讓我們來贊頌僧伽。
Let us now chant the sublime praise of the Saṅgha.
全體 All :
YO SO SUPAṬIPANNO BHAGAVATO SĀVAKASAṄGHO
僧伽是世尊的追隨者,良好地修習奉行佛法的團體 (善於擇法的行者)。
The Saṅgha, the Exalted One’s disciples, who has practised well,
UJUPAṬIPANNO BHAGAVATO SĀVAKASAṄGHO
僧伽是世尊的追隨者,直接地修習奉行佛法的團體 (不取兩端而實踐中道的行者)。
The Saṅgha, the Exalted One’s disciples, who has practised straightforwardly,
ÑĀYAPAṬIPANNO BHAGAVATO SĀVAKASAṄGHO
僧伽是世尊的追隨者,正確地修習奉行佛法以便脫離苦的團體 (以取證涅盤為最終目標的行者) 。
The Saṅgha, the Exalted One’s disciples, who has practised rightly,
SĀMĪCIPAṬIPANNO BHAGAVATO SĀVAKASAṄGHO
僧伽是世尊的追隨者,已能依教奉行佛法的團體 (梵行清淨的行者)。
The Saṅgha, the Exalted One’s disciples, who has practised properly, skilfully;
YADIDAṀ CATTĀRI PURISAYUGĀNI AṬṬHA PURISA PUGGALĀ ESA BHAGAVATO SĀVAKASAṄGHO
他們即是 : 四雙八輩人 (即是一向、一果、二向、二果、三向、三果及四向、四果) 。
That is the four pairs of men, the eight Individual persons, that is the Saṅgha of the Exalted One's disciples,
ĀHUNEYYO PĀHUNEYYO DAKKHIṆEYYO AÑJALİKARAṆĪYO ANUTTARAṀ PUÑÑAKKHETTAṀ LOKASSA
應當虔誠禮敬,應當熱忱歡迎,應當佈施供養,應當合十敬禮,是世間的無上福田。
Worthy of gifts, worthy of hospitality, worthy of offerings, worthy of respect, incomparable field of puñña (merit) for the world.
TAMAHAṀ SAṄGHAṀ ABHIPŪJAYĀMI TAMAHAṀ SAṄGHAṀ SIRASĀ NAMĀMI.
我虔誠的禮敬僧伽,於僧伽我俯首頂禮。
